World's largest smartphone processor company Qualcomm is trying its hard to get in to the laptop market which is dominated by INTEL from many years, its next attempt would be in the next year 2019 when it may get its big break in the laptop market.
The company is working on its new snapdragon 1000 project, which is next to come processor after snapdragon 850, and there are chances that some laptops in the next would have this processor. This is basically a processor for some medium range PCs and the main aim of snapdragon is to compete with INTEL in the field of laptops.

According to the reports snapdragon 1000 has its total power draw of 10w-3w which is less than the second alternative Intel, and in a reference pc the processor is equiped with 16gb RAM and 128 gb ROM. Firstly snapdragon 1000 is testin on windows 10 pc.
The company is attempting to come into laptop market since Snapdragon 835. Last year Dec company launched its Snapdragon 845 which promises the desktop level performance in the smartphone. Chances are that company also launches its notebook range in partnership.

Snapdragon 1000 processor is new successor after Snapdragon 845 and 850. the new Snapdragon processor is based on new micro architecture technology and A76 cores. It is estimated that it is more close to the Intel U series chipsets. It will provide you more performance than Intel with being more power efficient and more cooler.
The dimension of this chip is about 20mm\15mm which is much smaller than the large Intel processors. The processor is based on 7nm technology. According to report Snapdragon 1000 are mainly made for laptops not for smartphones.
