What is quantum computing?

What is quantum computing? What is meant by the term quantum? How does this work? There are many questions regarding this. Suppose if you want to perform some work on your computer system and it takes much time for performing such heavy tasks and you will need it by the time you ordered your system to do that what will you do? For that means there comes a new concept of quantum computing. In this system, the lager calculations can be performed in a very small period of time like in just a few seconds.

Many of you don't know about this, but this is true that form some time google is working on this system to increase the capability of their network. But here comes a breakthrough on Wednesday when they announced their report in quantum computing. 

Google's Sycamore machine

Basically, a small team of a scientist of google is working on the concept of quantum computing. They are working on google's sycamore machine which claims to be with quantum supremacy. Google is trying to make a machine that is based on Quantum supremacy for their computational and logical tasks.

Quantum supremacy

What is quantum supremacy? This basically means to solve large problems that a simple computer would take years to solve, solve that problem in just a few seconds. The basic idea of this is to make computational time shorter. 

The smallest unit of data for storage is bit it can store data of form 1 and 0 but in this concept of Quantum supremacy this bit can be both 0 and 1 at the same time that can increase the efficiency of the system to solve the more complicated and tricky problems with greater ease and much less time.

Super fast and powered precessing in the computer systems can drag us in the new era of technology which no one can expect in 2019. Google's scientist is working on this system for more than 10 years. This whole thing is started by the thought that  "how Quantum computing or Quantum supremacy can be helpful in their company projects to speed up the machine learning.

One can understand this development as of the development in computers from 1950 to the supercomputers or artificial intelligence existing till today.
